I received this product cold with 2/3 for sure still frozen solid the remaining packages were frozen too, but the beans pods could be felt within the package (still very much frozen). There was still some frozen dry ice in the shipping package.
The product comes in an insulated card board box, well packaged. As for the taste, I have purchased this brand of soybeans else where when I could find it, and I am confident these will taste as good. Be careful with dry ice, it can give you frost bite.

I steam the frozen bag for 7 minutes, eat the beans from the pods as a snack. LOVE them. So healthy and filling and satisfying.
